THE CASTLE PARK

In this part of the world, Schloss Eckberg is seen as an excellent example of the Gothic Revival.
Anyone who has ever been here will understand why the castle, which resides magnificently over the river Elbe, with its wonderful view, is sometimes described as the ‘fairy-tale castle’.

The location above the river, which is both prominent while at the same time being romantically hidden, the spacious English-style parkland and gardens with their ancient trees, the castle itself with its towers, hidden places, alcoves and corners: all of this appears as if it were in a fairy tale, meaning your stay is one that you won’t forget in a hurry.

Our gardeners are already out and about early in the morning, maintaining and keeping the extensive park in all its splendour and beauty. All so that you, our guest, can find the peace and quiet you are looking for in our castle park.
